Morning creative Assemblies (May 2025)

 *Class 5A* held a series of inspiring assemblies via introductory speech,short prayer, lords prayer,hymn ,thoughts, news ,pledge, anthem,song.

*Highlights of assembly(Class 5A):*
1. Everyone Counts (Class 5A): An inspiring play(Value of zero)highlighting that every individual is special.
2. Curiosity is Power (Class 5A): A lively role-play(Curiosity leads to success) encouraging questioning and learning.
3. Mehnat –the hardwork( Class 5A): A beautiful poem celebrating the value of hard work.

 *Class 4* conducted the morning assembly  with great enthusiasm and creativity.

The students presented short skits, poems, health tips, and thought-provoking messages that made the assemblies both informative and inspiring.

Farewell by Primary
Heartfelt Farewell to Sr. Clara and Sr. Manisha

On Monday, 26th May 2025,
a warm and short heartfelt farewell was organized by the Sapphire House teachers to honor Sr. Clara, Primary Incharge, and Sr. Manisha, KG Incharge, for their unwavering dedication and service to the school community.
The event began with a special prayer service conducted by the Primary students, setting a reverent and thankful tone for the occasion. Words of appreciation followed, beautifully acknowledging Sr. Clara’s steadfast leadership, compassionate support, and the wisdom with which she nurtured the Primary section. Sr. Manisha was lovingly praised for her gentle presence, creativity, and nurturing spirit that instilled joy and confidence in the Kindergarten and Class 1 children.
As tokens of love and gratitude, the Sisters were felicitated with handmade cards, a sapling, and a bouquet.
The farewell culminated with a touching address by our Sr. Principal, who expressed her deep admiration and thankfulness. She lovingly described both Sisters as strong pillars of support and strength for her and the entire school. Her words of praise and heartfelt gratitude left a lasting impact on all present.
A small farewell treat added a sweet and memorable conclusion to this emotional tribute.

Students'seminar(24th May)
On 24th May, a session on adolescence and its consequences was organised by the principal of the school. The resource person was Sister Pearl, Principal of Sophia College Ajmer. The session was especially for classes 8, 9 and 10. Sister Pearl, shared her expertise and insights aiming to provide a platform for girls to understand the physical, emotional, and psychological changes they experience during adolescence. The session kick started with some action songs, which they enjoyed singing and dancing which lifted up their moods. Various topics were explained during the session including physical changes during puberty, emotional well-being and stress management, importance of self-care, building self-confidence and self-esteem, healthy relationships and communication, as well as the difference between infatuation and love. 
The resource person, Sister Pearl laid emphasis on the importance of communicating and seeking guidance from adults, such as parents, mentors and teachers. She encouraged the girls to embrace their individuality and develop a positive attitude towards their own body image. The girls actively participated in the session, and were quite interactive, allowing them to express their thoughts and concerns. Many students appreciated the information and engaging discussion they had with Sister Pearl. Overall, the seminar was a resounding success, giving girls an opportunity to understand the stage they are currently going through.
International Worker's Day or Labour Day
May 2025 Celebration
International Worker's Day or Labour Day

Worker's Day is a celebration of the power and dignity of labor, reminding us value of hard work.  A series of cultural events were put up by the secondary students. Beginning with a special prayer service for our workers, followed by a welcome song, a special skit, and a folk fusion dance concluded with a Bollywood dance. The event was enjoyed and appreciated by our workers. A vote of thanks was delivered by our principal, Sister Abha for honouring and appreciating their dedicated work and giving a strong message that every job is valuable and deserving fair treatment and respect. Gifts were awarded to the 1st and 2nd position holders in the games conducted by Sapphire house teachers for the workers. Gangaram bhaiya and Prakash Bhaiya were felicitated on completion of their 25 years of dedicated service to the school.
English Elocution Competition : Primary
English Elocution Competition : Primary 

Sapphire House successfully hosted the Elocution Competition for the Primary Section on Saturday, 17th May 2025. Young orators from Classes 1 to 5 delivered engaging speeches on topics such as “My Best Friend,” “The Season I Like,” “How to Take Care of the Earth,” “Importance of Kindness and Discipline.”
Each participant showcased remarkable confidence, meaningful content, and impressive delivery. Their speeches reflected perfect memorization, clear articulation, and expressive presentation, leaving the audience and judges thoroughly impressed.
The event was a vibrant celebration of communication skills . Kudos to all the participants and teachers for making it a resounding success!
Earth day
Earth day assembly: Primary 

The Primary Section conducted a special assembly on the theme Earth to remember Earth Day, which falls on 22nd April. Class 5A led the assembly, introducing the importance of Earth Day and this year’s theme—“Our Power,Our Planet", which encourages the use of clean energy from sunlight and wind.
The program included a short prayer, introductory speech,thought, messages, and a beautiful action song “Earth is My Home, We Promise to Keep it Healthy and Beautiful,” performed by the 5A students. Sister incharge in her speech gave a strong message to act responsibly and help make the Earth greener and cleaner.
MSA day
MSA day assembly : Primary 

Class 5A conducted a special assembly to commemorate MSA Day, which is observed on 26th April. The assembly included a heartfelt prayer service dedicated to the Mission Sisters of Ajmer, thanking God for their selfless service and praying for their continued strength and guidance.

Students remembered the inspiring journey of Father Fortunatus Henry Caumont and Mother Mary Matilda, who founded the MSA congregation in 1911. The legacy they built continues through the Sisters’ tireless efforts in education, healthcare, and social service. The celebration honored the management sisters for their dedication, with students from Class 5A presenting a card and bouquet as a token of appreciation on behalf of primary section.
Worker's day
Workers’ Day special assembly– May 1, 2025

The Primary Section celebrated Workers’ Day on May 1, 2025, with a special assembly conducted by Class 2B to honour all the bhaiyajis and didijis. Students offered prayers, gave handmade cards and flowers, and expressed heartfelt gratitude for their hard work. The support staff were deeply touched by the kind gestures. Sister-in-charge also thanked them for their dedication in keeping the school clean and running smoothly.

Bookmark Making Competition: Primary 

A lively Bookmark Making Competition was held on 10th May 2025 during the activity period for Classes 1 to 5. Organized class-wise, each class explored a unique theme—ranging from Smiley Faces to Cartoon Characters,from under the sea to flowers & fruits .

Students participated with great enthusiasm, creating vibrant, imaginative bookmarks that reflected their creativity and joy. The event was a colorful celebration of talent and self-expression, inspiring young minds to take pride in handmade art while having fun.

Orange Day Celebration – Kindergarten
Kindergarten sparkled with joy on 9th May 2025 as students celebrated Orange Day with great enthusiasm. Dressed in vibrant shades of orange, the little ones lit up the campus with energy and warmth.

The corridors were beautifully decorated with orange flowers and fruits, creating a cheerful atmosphere. A special morning assembly and orange-themed lunch added to the excitement, making it a fun-filled, colorful day of learning and celebration.

Yellow Day Celebration – KG activity 

The Kindergarten section radiated joy and sunshine by celebrating Yellow Day on 11.04.2025. The colour yellow, symbolizing happiness and warmth, was beautifully reflected in the cheerful decorations and the bright attire of our little ones.Children came dressed in vibrant shades of yellow and brought yellow themed snacks, making the day extra colourful. The celebrations began with a special assembly where students sang the hymn "Like a Sunflower that follows every movement of the sun" with great enthusiasm.

Teachers highlighted the significance of the colour yellow through engaging songs and activities. The fun continued with a treat of mango-flavored drinks and mango bite toffees, bringing big smiles to every face.
Yellow Day was a delightful blend of learning and fun, leaving our kindergarteners with warm memories of a sunny, joy-filled day.
Special assemblies (Feb-Mar)
Feb 19 -22*Class 5A's* thought-provoking *assembly* on ' *Students' Tools* ' beautifully highlighted the significance of everyday objects like books, pencils, and colors. Their message reminded us that each tool holds a valuable lesson, inspiring appreciation for the little things that make a difference and shape our learning journey.

March 11,*Class 3A* conducted a vibrant *Holi assembly* , spreading joy and highlighting the festival's cultural significance. With prayers, messages, and colorful displays, they showcased the triumph of good over evil and the spirit of togetherness."
Women's day
On March 8, Class 4 celebrated Women's Day with a special assembly honoring inspiring Indian women. Students highlighted courage, leadership, and achievement through speeches, enactments, and stories about iconic personalities like Rani Lakshmibai, Indira Gandhi, Mary Kom, P.V. Sindhu, and Shakuntala Devi. The assembly concluded with an energetic slogan-chanting session: "Be strong and fearless. Rise and Roar. Keep breaking limits. Shine on, Always!" effectively conveying the powerful message of empowerment and equality.
Founder's day
On April 4, a special assembly was conducted by Class III-B to commemorate the death anniversary of Rev. Father Founder Bishop Fortunatus Henry Caumont, a devoted Catholic bishop who dedicated his life to serving the poor, marginalized, and underserved communities. Through his visionary leadership, he founded the Mission Sisters of Ajmer, inspiring countless individuals to follow in his footsteps.
Through a heartfelt prayer service, students reflected on his selfless dedication, with his mission carried forward by the Mission Sisters of Ajmer. They prayed for strength to embody faith and service, reaffirming their commitment to his vision.
KG kids' fashion showcase
Our Kindergarten's Kids' Fashion Showcase on April 5, 2025, was a resounding success! 👗💃 We were blown away by the confidence, style, and creativity of our tiny trendsetters. Each little model brought their unique flair, making the event truly unforgettable. Kudos to our young fashionistas and their parents for making it happen!

Sophian’s Day Special Assembly Report

Sophian’s Day is a cherished occasion celebrating the values and legacy of Sophia. The special assembly, conducted by Class 10, began with a soulful prayer, setting a reverent tone for the day.

Students then took us through the inspiring history of Sophia School, highlighting the vision of Mother Mary Matilda and Bishop Henry Caumont in empowering girls through education. In her address, Sister reinforced Sophia’s core values—truth, faith, love, and service—urging students to uphold them. She also encouraged students to write about Sophia, ensuring its legacy remains alive in their hearts and minds.

The assembly concluded with the Sophian anthem, filling hearts with pride, followed by a sweet treat of chocolates for all. This day was a reminder of our shared commitment to Sophia’s mission.

Report on KG AKSHAR AARAMBH:

"Akshar Aarambh" a sacred ceremony,that marks the beginning of our young learners journey into the world of letters and knowledge was held on 24 th of February 2025 in our  Kindergarten.It is the ceremonial beginning of the schooling of a child by writing the first alphabet "A, अ and 1" as per the tradition.Our Rev.Sister Principal Sr.Abha and our Sister Incharge Sr.Manisha blessed each and every new comer and entrusted them to the teachers so that they grow up to be wise, compassionate and knowledgeable individuals.

The Secondary Students' Initiation Ceremony was a resounding success, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of our students. The event commenced with a warm welcome address, followed by the symbolic lighting of the lamp, which represented the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment. Students then took an oath to uphold Sophia High School's values and strive for excellence in academics and personal growth. The investiture ceremony saw house representatives and newly appointed leaders being formally inducted and entrusted with their roles and responsibilities. The ceremony concluded with a motivational address by the Principal, encouraging students to aim high, embrace challenges, and make the most of their academic journey. Overall, the ceremony was a momentous occasion that inspired and motivated our students to excel in all aspects of school life.

Report : Primary Initiation Ceremony – 8th March 2025

The Initiation Ceremony of Sophia High School, Mount Abu, held on 8th March 2025, celebrated leadership and coincided with International Women’s Day. The event began with a march past by the office bearers, followed by a warm welcome, the lighting of the lamp, and a solemn prayer service seeking divine blessings.

The highlight was the oath-taking ceremony, where student leaders pledged to uphold the school’s values. They received badges and sashes as symbols of their commitment. In her inspiring address, Principal Sr. Abha emphasized leadership through humility and service, urging the leaders to set an example.

The ceremony was a milestone, reinforcing that every girl has the power to lead and inspire. Sophia High School remains dedicated to nurturing women of strength and service.
Talent Hunt Program
Report on the Talent Hunt Program – 1st March 2025

The *Talent Hunt Program* held today in the Primary Section of Sophia High School was a spectacular display of creativity and enthusiasm. The event commenced with a brief introduction, setting the stage for an exciting showcase of talent.  

Participants, representing their respective classes, took turns displaying their unique abilities, captivating the audience with their performances. The energy in the hall was electrifying as students and teachers cheered wholeheartedly, fostering an atmosphere of encouragement and appreciation.  

Distinguished guests, Sister Clara and Sister Manisha, along with all the primary teachers and students, thoroughly enjoyed the program. Their smiles and applause reflected the joy and admiration they felt for the young performers.  

As the event drew to a close, Sister Clara addressed the gathering, commending all participants for their outstanding efforts. She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for orchestrating such a wonderful and memorable event.  

The Talent Hunt Program was a resounding success, leaving everyone inspired and looking forward to more such opportunities to celebrate the incredible potential of our students.
