Independence Day Celebration and Fancy Dress Competition (National Leaders) — Report

The Kindergarten section of Sophia School, Mount Abu, celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, joy, and patriotic spirit. The celebration began with a disciplined march past by our little children, who proudly escorted the Sister Principal and the respected Sisters to the hall, creating an atmosphere of national pride.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome speech and a meaningful prayer service, seeking blessings for our nation and its people. The programme was graced by Sister Principal, Sister Abha, Sister Amrita, Sister Anjana, and Sister Vimla. The Fancy Dress Competition was judged by Ma’am Tarannum and Ma’am Anupama Mishra.
The children presented patriotic poems and speeches, followed by a beautiful group dance on “Ghar Ghar Tiranga,” adding colour, energy, and emotion to the celebration.
The Fancy Dress Competition – National Leaders was conducted category-wise, beginning with Nursery, followed by LKG and HKG. The little ones dressed as inspiring leaders, freedom fighters, and national personalities and confidently delivered speeches in Hindi and English, expressing their love and respect for these great personalities and for our nation.
The beautifully decorated backdrop further enhanced the patriotic aura of the celebration. The respected Sisters and the esteemed judges appreciated the hard work and sincere efforts of the teachers and students and were delighted by the impressive performances.
The programme concluded with a stirring presentation of “Vande Mataram,” which filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervour. Certificates for the Drawing Competition were distributed by our respected Sister Principal, Sister Abha, appreciating the creativity and efforts of the young participants. Group photographs were taken with the Sisters to preserve these cherished moments.
The programme ended with a Vote of Thanks expressing gratitude to the guests, judges, participants, parents, teachers, and everyone who contributed to its success.
The celebration was a beautiful expression of patriotism, joy, and pride in our nation. The innocent smiles and heartfelt performances of our little children made the occasion truly memorable and meaningful.
