Inter-House Spell Bee Competition – Primary Section (Classes III–V)

The Primary Section of Sophia High School, Mount Abu successfully conducted the Inter-House Spell Bee Competition for the students of Classes III to V on 18 July 2026. The competition aimed to strengthen vocabulary, improve spelling skills, enhance concentration, and build confidence in the English language.
Representing Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, and Topaz House, the participants competed enthusiastically through six engaging rounds—Spell It Right, Picture Spell, Missing Letter Challenge, Jumbled Word Round, Rapid Fire Round, and the Mystery Word Round. Each round tested the students' listening skills, observation, vocabulary, speed, accuracy, and presence of mind.
The competition was efficiently conducted by Mrs. Tarannum, the Spell Master, while Mrs. Rashmi served as the Score Keeper and Time In-charge, ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of the event.
The Rapid Fire Round was the most exciting part of the competition, testing the participants' speed, accuracy, and presence of mind. It made the event lively and provided a valuable learning experience for all.
The audience remained attentive, enthusiastic, and encouraging throughout the programme, adding to the vibrant atmosphere of the competition.
The event was graciously honoured by the presence of Primary In-charge, Sr. Amrita, and KG In-charge, Sr. Anjana, who appreciated the participants for their commendable efforts and encouraged them to continue learning with confidence. They also commended the teachers for the smooth and well-organised conduct of the competition.
The programme concluded on a joyful note, celebrating not only the winners but also the spirit of learning, confidence, and healthy competition.
