World Environment Day Celebration – 5th June
On 5th June, the primary and secondary students enthusiastically celebrated World Environment Day. The day began with a soulful prayer service, thanking God for the gift of nature and praying for its protection.
A meaningful assembly was conducted, emphasizing the importance of caring for the environment. Students shared powerful slogans on reforestation, conservation, and the 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. They also displayed creative placards and artwork promoting love for nature.
The secondary students visited Nakki Lake to explore and appreciate the natural surroundings, while the primary students went on a nature walk to Sunset Point, chanting slogans like “Save nature, save environment,” encouraging everyone to protect our planet. At the garden, they enjoyed swings and slides amid the greenery.
Later, Classes 5A and 5B participated in a tree plantation drive with DFO Sir and ACJM Sir, planting saplings and watering trees. Along with DFO Sir, students took a pledge to protect the environment, conserve natural resources, and become responsible defenders of the Earth.
The celebration served as a powerful reminder of our responsibility towards nature and inspired students to take active steps in preserving the environment.
