International Yoga Day Report

Sophia School, Mount Abu, celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm across Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary sections. The day began with an inspiring address by Sister Principal Abha, who emphasized the importance of yoga for a healthy mind and body, and urged students to make it a part of their daily life. She appreciated everyone’s efforts in making the event a success.
The Secondary students, led by Sir Gajendra, participated in the mass yoga session at Polo Ground, Mount Abu. They joined hundreds in performing various asanas with energy and discipline, proudly representing the school.
In the Primary Section, under the guidance of Topaz House teachers and Sir Bhavesh, students performed a series of yoga postures, with the pyramid formations by Class 5 as the highlight. Sister Mary encouraged students to follow a balanced lifestyle through yoga.
The Kindergarten children enjoyed simple poses like Tree, Butterfly, and Child’s Pose in a fun and engaging manner, promoting flexibility and focus.
The celebration across all sections reflected the school’s dedication to promoting well-being and holistic development through yoga.
