Report on Rakhi Making Competition
Held on 8th August 2025
To mark the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan and foster creativity, a Rakhi Making Competition was held for Primary students (Classes 1–5). The day began with a special assembly by Class 3A, featuring prayer, thoughts, a song, and a heartfelt speech on the festival’s cultural significance.
Students enthusiastically crafted rakhis using colourful threads, beads, mirrors, and other decorative materials, turning classrooms into vibrant creative spaces. From each class-section, 10 best rakhis were shortlisted for the final round, judged by our Manager Sister Prema on creativity, neatness, and presentation. The beautifully decorated rakhis reflected the students’ talent and effort, making the judging process delightfully challenging. The best three rakhis from each class-section were awarded certificates.
The enthusiastic participation of students made the event a grand success, beautifully blending artistry with the values of love, respect, and the sibling bond, leaving smiles on every face.
