Report on Dandiya Eve – 27th September 2025
On 27th September 2025, Sophia School came together with colour, music, and festivity as Dandiya Eve was celebrated in the secondary school basketball ground. The event was gracefully organized under the leadership of our Principal Sr. Abha to foster cultural joy and togetherness among the students.
Students from Classes 4 to 10, dressed in colourful traditional attire, participated with enthusiasm. Holding their dandiya sticks, formed circles and danced with energy and grace to the rhythmic beats of Garba. The one-and-a-half-hour celebration, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., witnessed vibrant performances, cheerful faces, and the festive spirit .
The programme music was successfully coordinated by Sir Bhavesh, with teachers joining the students on the dance floor, adding to the joy and unity of the evening. As the celebration concluded, students expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Principal for organizing such a refreshing and memorable event.
