World Environment Day Celebration 2026
Sophia High School celebrated World Environment Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and environmental awareness across all the three sections — Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary. The celebration aimed to inspire students to protect and preserve nature and become responsible caretakers of the Earth.
The programme in all the three sections began with a special morning assembly dedicated to environmental conservation and sustainable living.
The Primary Section conducted a meaningful assembly with prayers, speeches, thought for the day, a Hindi poem, and an energetic action song spreading the message of environmental awareness and love for nature.
The Secondary Section presented a special assembly highlighted by a thought-provoking skit on environmental challenges and the need for collective action. Through impactful performances, speeches, and prayers, students encouraged everyone to adopt eco-friendly habits.
Students of the Primary and Secondary Sections also participated in a refreshing Nature Walk amidst the serene surroundings of Mount Abu and took part in a plantation drive, fostering a deeper connection with nature.
To mark the occasion, various competitions such as Poster Making, Collage Making, Slogan Writing, and Floral Fantasy were organized, encouraging students to creatively express their commitment towards environmental protection.
The celebration concluded with heartfelt gratitude to the respected Sister Principal, Sister In-charge, teachers, parents, and students whose support and participation made the programme a grand success.
